Hello, my name is Ernesto “Neno” Castillo. I am a freelance photographer based in Southern California. I have been doing photography for about 5 years, photography for me at first, started as a hobby; taking pictures of my friends but then it grew into a passion. It grew into something that could define who I am, I realize that there is so much that can be said in a photograph that sometimes we verbally can't express. Sometimes a photograph of a person can express their true feelings or who they are, without using a single word; sometimes a photo of a mountain can tell you who has climbed it or if man has never touched the top of the peak. Sometimes a photo of a skyscraper can give you a history lesson of when it was built and by who. There is so much a photograph can tell you that, by a simple glance of it you know the history of it. This is why I became a photographer, to tell stories without using words.
